First of all, Rogaine (Minoxidil) is designed to be used on the top of the scalp. Most importantly, Rogaine will not work for everyone, even if you meet the above criteria. Rogaine has been shown to work for a little over 40% of the people who use it. The ONLY way you will find out if it works for you is to try it. You will need to apply Rogaine two times a day for a period of at least 4 months to get an idea if Rogaine will work for you. For many people, the scariest part about using Rogaine is that many people see MORE hair fall out when they first start using it. THIS IS NORMAL and actually a good sign. This means that Rogaine is working and the follicles have shed the old hair to make way for a new strand(s).

• Rogaine must be applied 2 times a day
• Rogaine must be used for a period of 4 months or more to determine if it will work for you

Lastly, you must continue to use Rogaine to retain the hair you have retained or grown back. Once you stop using Rogaine, your hair will begin to revert back to where it would have been had you not used Rogaine.
