But, that does not mean that we will be pushing it aside completely. We expect that we should have the new site design in place and implemented by the end of next week. If there is a miracle, it could happen this week. Whatever the case may be on the redesign, we still stock the best over the counter hair loss products available in the United States today at the lowest prices and still with great customer service.

But, most of the people that make it here to Minoxidil for Less are not wanting to hear about shaving their heads. Most people are looking for some kind of solution to the thinning hair on the top of their heads. If you are committed, then you can probably make a difference in the fight against hair loss. Hair loss for many is hereditary. For these people, there are solutions that *may* work for you, but there is no guarantee. Products like Rogaine for men and Rogaine for women are available on an over-the-counter basis, but work in approximately 40-45% of cases. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if Rogaine or its generic partner Minoxidil will work for you. The only way to find out is to actually try these products for a period of around 4 months to see what results you see. Remember, we are talking about keeping your hair here and not making your teeth whiter. Your options are limited. There is no magical way to make your hair grow back naturally. This is not easy. Am I making myself clear. But, the good news is, application of products like Rogaine or Revivogen is easy once you get into the habbit. You apply these products twice a day and before you know it, this process becomes just like brushing your teeth. The first few weeks can be a pain.

I am not trying to scare anyone away from using these great products. I just want you to understand that this can be difficult at the beginning. I know, I have used these products for years. And, while I don’t anymore, this is not because they did not work very well for me. I simply decided to let nature take its course. This was a personal decision on my part.

I do. I look back at my childhood pictures and I swear that I looked just like this guy. I had too much hair. It was poofy, it was hot, it was everywhere. Today, I have a spot that is getting thinner by the day and to be honest, I have decided to just let it go. I stopped using any kind of hair loss treatments a couple of years ago and since then I have seen my hair revert back to where I figured it would be at this point. So, if you want to keep your hair, don’t stop using the Rogaine, Minoxidil or whatever you are using. For me, I just decided that I was going to go au natural and if it got to a point that it was “bad enough” I decided that I would just shave my head. That is just how I roll.

I used to shave my legs because of cycling, but gave that up years ago. Looks like men are starting to use waxing more and more these days to remove unwanted body hair.

But we must remember that the female preoccupation with advanced technologies in hair removal are a recent phenomenon, too. It could even be argued that all this attention to grooming is a minor rebellion against the major rebellion of the 1960s and ’70s, when hair did double duty as a personal statement and political act.

However, we receive a lot of questions asking us about hair loss in areas other than the top of the scalp. Rogaine and Minoxidil have not bee approved by the FDA to regrow hair in any areas other than the top of the human scalp. If your hair loss appears on the top of your head, as in this picture, and you have hair loss somewhere in your family (on either your mother or father’s side) then Rogaine or Minoxidil may work for you. If and how well it may work for you depends on a number of different factors. The most important factor is how soon after the thinning of the hair on your scalp you start treatment. Studies have shown that the sooner you begin using Rogine or Minoxidil, the more effective they will be.

Hair LossHereditary hair loss, or hair loss that can be found in your family lineage is different than spotty hair loss. Spotty hair loss, or balding areas that appear on the side of the scalp, are not usually due to hereditary factors and are usually caused by diet, stress, or other medications. If you are experiencing spotty hair loss, then you should consult your physician about possible treatments. This may also be a sign of some deficiency or physical problem. In this case, Rogaine and Minoxidil are not an option to help regrow your hair.

It seems that this has been the basis for so many arguments and controversies. A school in Liverpool is facing legal action after they excluded seven students from lessons for five days after the students refused to cut their hair at the request of the school. The really funny part is that the parents agreed to this nonsense when they enrolled their kids in the school, now they are suing. Comedy.

A SCHOOL in Liverpool is facing legal action after seven pupils were excluded from lessons for five days for refusing to cut their hair. One of them, Christian Bridge, 14, was thrown out of class for his shoulder-length hair after being told last term it was acceptable to have it tied back. His brother Dominic, 16, is also facing exclusion for his hairstyle. The year 11 and year 9 pupils at St Margaret’s Church of England voluntary aided school, Aigburth Road, are among a total of seven pupils who been excluded from school for five days. Story continues One father of a pupil will be meeting solicitors today to pursue legal action against the boys’ school..

This is really about putting things into my body that can chemically change the way normal body functions work.  I also have a large number of allergies and I have learned over the years that I can control them mostly by remaining calm, not touching my eyes, scratching, or paying attention to the allergic reactions that I may be having. This may sound silly, but it is very effective. But, back to the point of this post.  Many of you probably know that Zach Lund, Olympic skeleton slider, tested positive for a banned substance Finasteride (commercially known as Propecia) and subsequently banned from competition in the current Olympic games.  Now, I am of the firm belief that if you are an Olympic athlete, you need to been (and most likely are) uniquely concious about what you put in your body (when it comes to medication…especially those that end with steride), for obvious reasons. Now, who is to blame and why is not the point here. My point is simply that Minoxidil and Rogaine are a much better alternative as they are not on the Olympic’s banned substances list. So, if you are an Olympic athlete and losing your hair, the choice is clear.
