Kirkland Minoxidil has been available now for a little over 3 years now. Minoxidil is the generic version of the brand name Rogaine hair loss treatment and is chemically identical to the brand name product. I have used both the brand name Rogaine products as well as the generic Kirkland Minoxidil for over 5 years now and I can tell you that there is no difference between the two, except a difference in price. You can pick up a 4 pack (approximately 4 months worth) of Kirkland Minoxidil for $40 here. Where a 3 pack of the brand name Rogaine, will cost you nearly $50. So, you tell me which is the better deal. Kirkland Minoxidil is only available in the 5% "extra strenth" version for men only. We do sell a another brand of generic 2% Minoxidil for those that cannot use the 5% because their scalp is too sensitive or because they are female.
